Before installing new cavity wall insulation, all existing insulation and debris are thoroughly cleared and inspected to ensure the cavity is completely clean. Only after this process can the cavity be refilled with new insulation.

We check your walls to confirm the condition of the existing insulation.
Old insulation is removed using an industrial vacuum machine to ensure thorough extraction.
A recognised drill pattern is followed, with compressed air directing the old insulation toward the vacuum for removal.
The cavity is checked using a borescope to confirm it’s completely clear of insulation and debris.
All waste materials are bagged and removed from the site during the process.
Once completed, a Certificate of Clean is issued which confirms the cavity is ready for new insulation.

The entire extraction and installation process typically takes two days in an average three-bedroom detached property.
We do not top up old insulation; all gaps and voids must be fully cleared before installing new material.
Our extraction teams are highly trained and follow BBA Cavity Extraction guidelines to ensure the job is done to the highest standards.
